About the Association

Association Tsiolkovsky was created by a group of young people with common interests and ambitions. In February 2004, the Association was authorized by the Bulgarian Court of Justice. The organization is assigned with the task to create projects that improve the life of the young people. The basic idea is to let young Bulgarians see and get acquainted with the rest of the World and especially Europe, to give them a chance to cooperate with international partners.

Our idea is to create network of capable young people with different abilities and ideas and to unite their efforts in the realization of projects with a public benefit.

A major priority in our organization is the space education and its national implementation. Bulgaria is a small country and currently it doesn’t have the possibility to finance youth space projects. Space is the next frontier and in our organization we are determined to pursue it.

We are very committed in showing the young people that space exploration is a real opportunity for them.

Ever since 2004, The Association Tsiolkovsky has developed successfully many international youth events and projects. We have worked hard to this day on solving problems in different areas - environmental, political, economic, cultural and scientific.

We support the non-formal education and consider that it is extremely important to give the young people from our region the possibility to travel and to establish contacts with other cultures. We envision the day when every young person will have his/her own vision about the future and will try to change to local environment accordingly.
