Idea of the project

The aim of this project is to let 36 youngsters from Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Italy and Poland speak about the politics and its importance in the European context. The participants will present the situation of their countries in order to have the possibility to create together all the necessary conditions for creation of the Ideal country – starting from the election of the president and ending with the creation of the culture concepts, e.g. folk dances and songs. Every day the participants will have to develop some particular conditions for the Ideal country. The sustainability of their Ideal country will be tested. The youngsters through this project will have a unique possibility to work in an international atmosphere and develop their interpersonal skils. The exchange is organised from the 14th to 23rd November, 2008 and is held during the celebrations of Latvia’s independence, so one fo the concepts looked at will abe also the concept of freedom. Mainly this whole exchange is a 9 day long simulation game, which will help to develop a broader sence of politics and its importance in the European context.
