PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Our main theme is racism and within that area we will focus on anti-discrimination, cultural diversity, social inclusion, human rights and equal opportunities for young people.

We try to unify nations by doing activities in which everybody is equal. Therefore our decision fell on sport, because sport can help to build intercultural and interpersonal relations. Moreover playing sport means respecting each other, being equal and strenghtening the team spirit.

We will work with different methodes such as discussions within the whole group as well as in smaller groups, workshops and partner work.

PARTICIPANTS PROFILE:

• aged between 18 and 30
• motivated to multiply and exchange experiences
• able to work in the working language English
• committed to attend the entire duration of the course and supported by the sending organisation, institution or service

OBJECTIVES:

• to raise awareness about different forms of discrimination
• to improve participants knowledge, attitude and skills about different cultures, supported by
• sport activities
• to develop critic attitude of participants about methods to use for preventing discrimination and tackling different forms of intolerance and prejudice
• to create opportunities for young people to participate and organize social activities
