Our cultural scheme prevents us to place ourselves in the perspective and experiences of other people. With this project we wanted to break these prejudices. We wanted to make new steps towards understanding between people and to feel more at home in intercultural Europe.
All the activities that we developed during this exchange will had the same aim: to analyze our prejudices in order to break these chains and make the youngsters of different European countries come together and perceive same home while keeping the value of each culture.
The idea was to strengthen our cooperation and the relationships that we have been building between our organizations.
The Spanish organization Carriles came up with idea to develop stereotypes topic for this project.
All our partners were found in different ways. During contact-making seminar in Baku, Azerbaijan one of the ESN Tallinn members made good contacts with United Kingdom and we decided to develop our relationships with them. At the same time Association Tsiolkovsky has already done successful projects with Carriles and we seemed to be perfect partners.
The participants learned a lot and got to know new cultures. As a hosting organization ESN Tallinn put lots of efforts to present their home country. The aim was to show the participants the real Estonia- countryside and nature, to let them see more than tourists ever could.
All planned activities took place and in general there were not many changes. Also a short movie was prepared about the exchange.
Overall the exchange was very successful and it created the base for future cooperation and developments.
