HUGO COSTA, Former Advisor for E.S.A. Portuguese Delegation


Hugo André Costa is a physicist and holds a MSc. in Space Studies by the International Space University. He got involved in space projects very early in his career, performing, while a physics' student, experiments in the ESA parabolic flight campaigns.

Mr. Costa has worked at ESA in the life support project MELiSSA and in the past year he has been working as Advisor at the ESA Portuguese Delegation for the Human Spaceflight program and the Scientific Program. On his presentation he will highlight the importance of ESA for small member states and the Human Spaceflight challenges for the near future.
