About Space Challenges program


This is the biggest educational program in the field of space science and high-technologies in Bulgaria. The main idea is to create a stable and adequate space education at national level and foster innovative business solutions, led by young people.

The initiative involves a range of leading experts from NASA, ESA, Caltech, MIT, Stuttgart University, French National Space Program, United Nations, Stanford University, University of Oxford and others.

The goal is to develop creative solutions that would foster a strong connection between education and the economy. Our efforts are aimed at helping young people to acquire knowledge and skills and to apply those at creating innovative companies and organizations.

  • Presentation of recent advancements in Biotechnology, AI and Robotics, Medicine and Neuroscience, Aerospace engineering, Space systems and Mission design, Nanotechnology, Planetary sciences and others
  • Popularization of science and technology and the respective relationship with the business sector
  • Generation of young professionals in the high-tech field
  • Fostering entrepreneurial education
  • Establishment of a strong network between students, leading experts and local businesses
  • Creation of real opportunities for the near-term development of the young participants
  • Development of effective strategy for permanent space-related and high-tech education in Bulgaria
