Project “Space Vision”

         This project will be dedicated mainly to the space exploration history and future.
We plan to make a formal course of lectures and to present it to many young people from the region. We will post the lectures also on our website.

         The main idea of this project is to win the interest of the young people. We must show them that they can develop as professionals in the field of space science. It is EXTREMLY important for the young people to understand how space affects their life.

         We truly believe that everyone must have the right to learn the things he/she finds interesting and entertaining.

         We have enough experience with organizing seminars and meetings. That is why we are putting our hopes that we will make an effective and interesting program of activities and that we will gain the interest of the young people from the region.

         This project again will be financed by our members and it will be really great if we can find institutions and organizations that can help us. For the success of this endeavor it is vital that we join forces with people who have previous experience in this field.

         We plan to start the project at the beginning of April 2008

         The activities will involve:

• Making the program of activities and taking into account all the details
• Talking with members of the Bulgarian Space Institute and with every professional space organization we can establish contact with
• Finding all the necessary literature and making financial planning
• Making a list of all the participants
• Developing and updating special web pages dedicated to the project and its activities
• Finding partner organizations and friends from all over the world
• Organizing lectures and seminars and making a data base of all participants. The idea is to learn them to communicate with each other and to make new contacts. The registration of our forum will be free for all users.
• We are planning to combine some of the activities of this project with the ones of the project “Eyes in Space”
• We have to send someone from our organizational committee to international forums. This way we will be able to exchange information about our activities directly with other experienced organizations.
• We will try also to establish a close contact with the National Space Agencies and with the private sector.

PS: During the organizational period we will make much more precise planning and timeframe.

We expect at least 150 – 200 participants to take part in the first stage of the project. Since at this stage we finance ourselves it will be difficult to make a bigger project.
